Blogs

I’ve kept, or rather neglected to keep, numerous blogs over the last—well, since there have been blogs. The least neglected of these is Econ479, the blog for an economics course I taught in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. If you’re interested in economics, there are some interesting items there among some of the more tedious class notes.

Newsletters

Like everyone else in the world, I’ve discovered SubStack as an online publishing medium. I publish a monthly newsletter there called World Bookcase, which is about geography, travel, food, history, anthropology, language, and pretty much whatever else I’m inspired to write about. Please visit and subscribe. A basic subscription is free, but a separate monthly edition is available for paying subscribers that contains lots of extra goodies, including recipes.

I’ll be adding other newsletters in 2022, so please visit this page for updates.
